Last walking part of the day

This is the beginning of the last part of the 'road', here there is not allowed to drive for local people, it is just for bussiness, hotels and restaurant I guess.

This used to be the start of 'Fishermans End' now it is just a portal.

First restuarant, they have really taste tuna sandwhiches here.

So now there seems to be a new entreance called, 'The last  Fisherman bar' and there is also a new restuarant here.

New massage huts and there are actually chairs under the trees but no tables. charge is 100 bath but it is free at the massagehuts but very boring to sit there, I want to see the sea and have seabreeze in my hair ;-)

Lunch from one of the 'guys' walking around with the portable kitchens, so good.

I had a chicken stick and a spring roll, both with some sweetsour sauce.

AND A CHANG OF COURSE, I AM ON VACATION  Aaaaah ;-)

Just realized that I should split up the pictures into several blog posts ... this i snumber one!!!

Walking to Ao Nang beach will take approxiamatly 10 min which is more or less nothing as there are so much too see during the walk.
Here are some picture from todays walk. Hotel is located between the 2 beaches.

My room at 'apple a day' resort

The hotel is new and cannot have many month since opening day!?!?
The room is really fresh and good looking but it still have some flaws, let me explain with the comments under the pictures and you will know.

Nothing to say yet ... I have not yet taken a shower ...

Direct access to pool ... the thing is that bar and sunchairs are looking directly at my room, good or bad!?!?

So I have to complain more .... I am fucking Swedish ...OK!!!

A little bit hard maybe to see but were do I put my stuff?

Underwear on the hangers? There are no drawers to "hide" the stuff, everything is open style. however there is a large space above the hangers which is probably made for this BUT, when was it dusted the last time !?!?!?

I need to do it or skipp it totally or complain to managers ...

When I checked in, this have happened several times at other hotels, they say the have upgraded your reservation room to a better but of course that is just 'bullshit' but this time it might be right, as I got direct pool access or it could also be that nobody want to stay at this room as every hotelguest can see directly into your room... I will not bother this time as when Sumit comes we can relax here and just swim over to the bar and fetch a couple of drinks ... weeeh yeeees!!!

I just could not stay at the hotel, unpacking and ... what ever. I went stright down to the nearest restaurant at the beach(Nang An rest.)

To many hours at "Suvvan"

Bangkok airport ... getting really bored, the beers do help a bit but not enough ;-)
I spent exactly 1000 bath now on food and Chang ... hmm just rememberd I forgot taking a picture of the food, well skit happens ...

Aaaah finally I am on vacation, CHEERS!!!

So no issues at all driving to Arlanda or rather Lindskrogs longterm parking ...

Somewhere up there is my departure flight to Bangkok as first stop and then I will go to Krabi airport ... I actually do not know the name of Krabi's airport, I have read it but never put it on my mind!?!?

Check in is smooth for me, it takes like maximum 2 minutes but why do every one else's check in take like 6-10 minutes!?!?!

Gaaah !!!

Driving to Arlanda

In a couple of minutes I will drive to Arlanda, Stockholm and then go for vacation for 2 weeks weeeeh!!!

First I will drop off my car at Lindskrogs longterm carparking and with their bus go to Arlanda airport, this is of course included in the parking price.

Eeeh OK ... GoPro ... what!?!?

I was just checking my stuff that I have in my messenger bag that I will bring on the plane and the small pouch with the essentials that I will have at my seat and found out that the GoPro was warm hmm how come???
So some how the GoPro had drained the battery, I use an extra battery pack on it and it was completely empty so now I am again loading it.
I will not attach the two batteries to the GoPro camera until I will use it.

Hmm I have an extra power source with me so I can load the batteries but this is not something that I had expected to happen ...

Packing stress .. wooosaaah!

it is over now ... well all most I will guess tomorrow morning I get the feeling ... "What is missing?"
Hmm I certain I have everything this time... I will let you know either wise.

Oooh just remember maybe I should weigh my suite case ... hmm no I haven't brought more this time then before ... I hope anyways ... what I worry about is my new 'everyday messenger bag' weighing to much??? Well Thai airways haven't carried before about the handbag. I usually have a rucksack for everything and bag for my camera so it will weigh in to much but now I only use my newly bought bag which is used for 2 days now and I f*cking love it!

I'am gonna use it everyday of course ... instead having two bags ... one for the company computer as I bring it home most of the time and another one for my personal stuff now I can use only one.

Packing stress ... and I do not care ...

In my younger days I usually got starting with planning and packing 2 weeks before and it got very organised, which is a good thing ... right?.
Well now days I get exactly the excitement the first day then everything is like "I want to go now ...." but as I can't then ... the last night .. stress ... I need this .... I need that .. and then gaaah  ...why bother at all... I will do it tomorrow

I do not care ...

... and of course tomorrow I will be why did I not do it last night !?!?!?
